ESPA provides support to families facing an autism diagnosis and the challenges of implementing treatment plans for their children.   If your child has a sore throat and an infection is diagnosed, an antibiotic is prescribed.  However, when you have a child with autism, you may need to work with at least 10 different medical specialties, which can be overwhelming.  That’s where ESPA comes in.  Our clinical care coordinators and parent educators help families find individualized resources and teach skills for managing the child’s basic needs.  All for free, and with no waiting list, in English and in Spanish.  ESPA is like a breath of fresh air during the post diagnosis period when every day can feel like a struggle.”
