“Crissy Broadcast was a truly community driven event. More than 800 musicians and their instruments gathered at Crissy Field in full view of the Golden Gate Bridge – professional, student, and amateur musicians; orchestras, bands, experimental groups and individual musicians. They came together to perform an outdoor, spatialized, synchronized, moveable symphony in this civic place of wild and spectacular beauty, accompanied by fog horns, sea birds and Bay breezes. It was a compositional and logistical challenge which was rewarded with an experience both exhilarating and wonderfully fun for both the musicians and the audience.”
