“The REACH was conceived as a place for the exchange of ideas and energy between audience and artist, without the formality of grand stages, backstage areas, or hidden rehearsal rooms. It is a drop-in space where you can wander by at any time of day and take a moment to observe a dance class in Studio J or make your own art project in the Moonshot Studio. It is a public gathering space for relaxing on the lawn for an impromptu jam session or enjoying a movie night on the Video Wall. And most exciting, it is a space for the unexpected. While we designed it with certain experiences in mind, it is also a living experiment. Who knows what things future artists and audiences may conceive together?”
