Of the foundation’s four program areas, open applications are only accepted for the Youth Development program. Organizations interested in funding through the foundation’s Youth Development program should first submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI). Following the foundation’s review of the LOI, you will be informed whether your organization may submit a full proposal. Please refer to the Youth Development Letter of Inquiry Guidelines for details. The Youth Development program is the only program open to receiving inquiries through an LOI process.

For all program areas, full proposals are accepted only upon direction from the foundation. For guidelines on proposal content and formatting as well as the required supporting documents, please refer to the Proposal Submission Guidelines.

All documents should be sent to the foundation via email.

The Board of Directors meet three times a year. Prior to each board meeting, staff reviews proposals, contacts the organizations as needed, and conducts due diligence to determine which proposals will be presented to the Board. The foundation will notify you if your request will be presented to the Board and when to expect a decision.

The foundation’s Board of Directors gives final approval to all grants. If funding is approved, an award letter will state the terms of funding and specify the grant start date and reporting guidelines.
